My name is Stacy and there's few things I love more than dogs and photography!
Well, maybe tacos, but that's a story for another time!
Growing up on the Sunshine Coast, I always had a family dog in my life and my high school schedule was either one of the sciences or photography. I was lucky enough to have a photography teacher that allowed me to sub all other art classes for photography but by the time I was ready to graduate I had been accepted to the Pre-Veterinarian program at UBC and photography was no longer on my radar.
Then after only a semester at university, an eventual degree in Fashion Merchandising, and numerous bumps in the road and career changes later, I found myself serving at a local restaurant when the pandemic hit.
Being "forced" to take time off from work allowed me lots of time with my thoughts, daily hikes with my dog Sailor, and it became clear pretty quickly that the passions I had as a teenager were still burning in me today.
Fast forward to today, I have completed the Professional Dog Walker program at Langara College, obtained my Digital Photography certificate from Shaw Academy, and am working Mon-Fri as a dog walker serving Davis Bay, Sechelt, and Halfmoon Bay!!
